Retro Plaza to Host Holiday Shindig on December 16th
The free event will offer food, music, and plenty of unique vintage Christmas gifts for purchase!
Bedford, Texas – December 1, 2017 – The vintage shopping center Retro Plaza (1424 Brown Trl, Bedford, TX) will host a holiday shindig from 11:00 am – 5:00 pm on Saturday, December 16, 2017. The five Retro Plaza businesses, The Vintage Freak, Vintage Tex, Bombshell Nostalgia, Retro Madness, and the Quarter Lounge Arcade, will be joined by many additional vintage vendors on the plaza to create a festive Christmas market. Musical acts including local singer-songwriter Kelsey Lewis will perform throughout the day and food trucks will be available.
The Retro Plaza businesses have the following offerings for Christmas presents:
• The Vintage Freak – vintage audio equipment and records, mid-century modern furniture
• Vintage Tex – vintage clothing, handbags, gloves, jewelry, and accessories from the 1940s to 1970s
• Bombshell Nostalgia – strange, rare, and interesting oddities and antiques
• Retro Madness – vintage toys, action figures, comics, collectibles, and retro gaming systems such as Atari and Nintendo
A silent auction will benefit Mission Central, a local charity that offers programs to empower and provide for those in need. Quarter Lounge Arcade will also host their annual holiday party including prize raffles and a pinball tournament on the same day. Vintage Tex has also released its annual holiday clothing collection full of rich textures, elegant silhouettes and glamorous fabrics. Guests of the Holiday Shindig can shop the collection to find the perfect outfit for their holiday soirees.
