A native Texan, I received my BA from Texas Christian University. (Go Frogs!) I accepted a job in social media right out of college, which quickly (day one, actually!) led to a career in public relations. I worked in PR for years, representing largely food and lifestyle clients. In November 2014 I left my position as head of PR at an advertising agency to pursue independent work. I now own the PR company Katherine Rose Watson, LLC, working mainly with fine arts, nonprofits, and lifestyle companies. A few of my clients include Dallas Symphony Orchestra, Wine and Magic, Brick Road Theatre, Rockwall Summer Musicals, Black Star Sport Horses, Company of Rowlett Performers, blogger My Curly Adventures, and many more.

In my free time, I enjoy cooking, gardening, horseback riding, writing, and spending time outdoors. I love to travel but no matter where in the world I am, I am your publicist first and foremost. I once got $100,000 worth of publicity on a tarmac and $60,000 worth of publicity in a Caribbean hammock!  I also serve on the Dancing Classrooms North Texas board of directors . Finally, I am the creator of the luxury food and lifestyle website The Rose Table, www.therosetable.com, which gives me intimate knowledge of how to best work with bloggers and content creators.
