Vintage Tex Summer Trends
Eight vintage looks are trending this summer.

Grapevine, Texas – June 1, 2017 – Vintage Tex today announces that the store is now carrying a summer collection at their historic downtown Grapevine location (603 S Main St, Ste 300, Grapevine, TX 76051). The 2017 Summer Collection includes head-to-toe white options (perfect for Diner en Blanc Dallas 2017), head-to-toe blue, bold linen colors, and statement sleeves.

“I’m thrilled to see how in fashion statement sleeves are right now,” says Vintage Tex owner Jen Cooper. “This is a fun summer for fashion.” The summer trends available in the 2017 Summer Collection at Vintage Tex are as follows:

1.     Head-to-toe white

a.    The monochromatic look is clean and fresh and pops with a statement lip

2.     Head-to-toe-blue

a.    Beach on your brain? Dress in head-to-toe blue for a refreshing look.

3.     Bold, vivid colors in linen

a.    The lightweight summer fabric is getting an update this summer with bright colors.

4.     Statement Sleeves

a.    Sleeves are all the rage right now.

5.     Gingham

a.    The small print is flattering and pairs well with solid accessories for a quick outfit.

6.     Shades of blue

a.    Blue is red-hot this summer.

7.     Bralettes and super high waisted shorts

a.    Taylor Swift was ahead of the fashion curve in her Blank Space video a few years ago. Vintage Tex offers several bralette and short options.

8.     Bold colors and chiffon peek-a-boo

a.    Dance those summer nights away in a twirl-worthy ensemble.

The items range in price from $18 – $78. The shop is open daily from 11 am – 6 pm. Most of the clothing and accessories found at Vintage Tex are from somewhere in the state of Texas. In addition to clothing from the 1920s to the 1970s, Vintage Tex offers a variety of accessories including vintage handbags, scarves, aprons, gloves, hats, brooches, jewelry, and more.
